Webbula Bryan Ward

September has already been a busy month for Webbula. Just in the first few weeks we launched insightData, went on our work retreat, and started to work on our fourth quarter goals! We wanted to take a little break and introduce our September Employee Spotlight. Everyone say hello to our new VP of Marketing, Bryan Ward. Bryan started with us in August and has been a great addition to our team. Between his awesome artwork on our whiteboard to his extensive background in marketing, we have learned and enjoyed the first month with Bryan. Keep reading to learn more!

How long have you been at Webbula?

A little over a Month

What brought you to Webbula?

Doug and Vince reached out to me through LinkedIn and we started a dialogue about Webbula and their vision for the company moving forward. Having used data services in marketing many times before in my career I understood implicitly just how important truly accurate data can be. Webbula’s devotion to truth in data and best-in-class services is what really attracted me, I believe the potential for growth here is incredible. I’d like to help make that happen.

What does your position entail at Webbula?

Essentially my primary goal is to bring Webbula to the attention of everyone who can benefit from our services and help make those services understandable and actionable.

What part of your job are you most passionate about?

Working with talented people, driving growth and doing innovative work, that is the heart of it. The other side that excites me is building a world-class brand that continues on the work that has already been done and positions Webbula as the undisputed industry leader.

Where are you located?

Wexford, PA

Where are you originally from?

Earth, specifically the part with all the trees

Where did you go to college?

I graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and was planning on additional education afterward, but my career took off and I’ve never looked back.

If you could be cast in any TV show, what would it be and which character?

As long as that show has me being the Captain of my own spaceship, I’m ready to sign-up today!

What is one fun fact that most people do not know about you?
I run an Alliance of 800 people in an online science-fiction universe called Eve Online, I’m rather “space famous” in that community.

Bryan and his wife (Elizabeth) in Iceland.

If you could have a private concert for you and your friends… who would the artist be and where would you have it?

I’d need a time machine to go back to the ’60s in London and see the original Pink Floyd lineup with Syd Barrett as lead in some grungy underground London bar, like the UFO.

We hope you enjoyed September’s blog of the month. Bryan is a great asset to our team and we are so excited to see how he can take Webbula to the next level. The author is also excited that she is sharing a room with someone who likes figurines and bobbleheads as much as her 🙂
