Employee Spotlight: Casey Chambers

Casey Chambers Webbula Employee spotlight image

It is May, which means it is time for another edition of Webbula’s employee spotlight. We are proud to introduce the first member of our marketing team Casey Chambers. Casey is our multimedia designer. However, he is also our resident chef, jack-of-all-trades and hockey expert (Go Pens!). Casey does it all from our website, to marketing collateral and the great graphics you see on our blogs. Keep reading and learn a little more about Casey.

How Long Have You Been at Webbula?

1 year and 7 months

What brought you to Webbula?

I was brought on as an intern to revamp Webbula’s graphical approach in the marketing realm. I helped redesign and relaunch the stellar webbula.com and took the brand to the modernized, clean-cut appearance you see before you. I must’ve done a few things right during that time as I was offered and accepted a full-time position with the company in April of last year.

What does your position entail at Webbula?

On my Linkedin profile, it says I contribute to the efforts of the Webbula marketing team by creating design concepts to achieve business goals and bring the brand to life, solve complex marketing problems with simple graphic solutions through various mediums, and assist in the design and development for digital channels.

More importantly, I confer with Vince what we’re having for lunch each day, cook breakfast during quarterly company summits, provide constructive suggestions for the daily music in the office, and sometimes draw intricate portraits of pop culture figures on the dry-erase boards.

What part of your job are you most passionate about?

The pieces I create are seen by thousands of people every day. Whether it’s someone browsing our website, the sales team providing brochures to potential clients, or the company officers using custom designed presentations and displays at trade shows, people are seeing my work and Webbula is growing as a brand. It’s pretty cool to know when a big deal goes through or the company is recognized for excellence, that you were part of the team that helped make it happen.

Where are you located?

The Greater Pittsburgh Area.

Where are you originally from?

Cranberry Twp, PA. About 30 miles north of Pittsburgh.

Where did you go to college?

California University of Pennsylvania. It’s a college, in a town called ‘California’ in the state of Pennsylvania. Weird, right?

If you could only eat one food every day for the rest of your life what would it be?

Tacos probably. Because they’re so versatile. (Found a loophole in the question) (*Editor’s Note: I need to make sure my questions don’t have loopholes anymore)

What is one fun fact that most people do not know about you?

While my office appearance may not show it, I have a collection over $1,000 in tattoos. I also ride a Harley-Davidson.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

To be super agile. Like crazy agile. I feel like that power could be utilized in multiple ways so it’s kind of like having multiple powers.

We hope you got to learn a little more about our multimedia designer Casey. As you can see by the picture to the left, Casey got to see the Stanley Cup (*Editor’s note: I am super jealous, I have yet to manage to see the cup). At the time this was written, the Pittsburgh Penguins are in the Eastern Conference Finals so hopefully, Casey will get to see the cup again this year! Have a great Memorial Day, and we will see you back here in June!
